To improve our communication and to be able to spread our work more in the village of Ushpa-Ushpa, we added a communication expert to our team. Norma Estrada took on this responsibility in March. Together with students and some volunteers, she developed a village newspaper. The first issue was distributed during an event at the daycare and was very well received. The name of the newspaper was selected in a competition. We had several interesting proposals, so the selection committee had no easy choice. But in the end we decided for a name in Quechua: IMAYNALLA. The expression is best translated into English as “how are you?”. It is an expression everyone understands. The newspaper is interactive and informative and shall be published monthly
