From the people we spoke to, it was indicated that the community are happy with transportation and the school but would like to see drinking water, paved streets, public lighting, sewerage and more citizen security. In response to this we are now working closely with the local government to see how we can better assist them in providing the services that are still lacking in the community.
We were pleased that many people we spoke to also indicated that they are keen to learn more. Over 60% of all participants want to learn about water treatment, nutrition, hygiene, ways to improve their savings, sexual and reproductive health, communication skills and business development. We are now working hard to offer relevant courses that will meet these needs and educational levels of the community.
